The Eleventh Doctor, as played by Matt Smith, is, quite obviously, still a Time Lord. He has had three companions, Amelia Pond, Rory Williams, who accompanies Amy, and now, Clara Oswin Oswald.

Story[]
The 10th Doctor regenerates after stopping the Master and saving Wilf from radiation poisoning, instead drawing the radiation into himself. His regeneration is so powerful, possibly because of the huge amount of radiation he absorbed, that it blows up the TARDIS, so it crashes Amelia Pond's backyard, where she finds him.
